Dealing With Neglect: Issues For Practice For Children & Young People - 1 Day - T0303a

Abstract

The aim of the course is review the impact of neglect on the stages of child development and what this means for children and young people.  A range of aspects will be looked at to assist workers to work more effectively with children and young people who’s own development has been affected by neglectful life experiences that has led them into the care environment. Participants will look at range of child development aspects that will assist the delivery of care practice for all children and young people who are subject to neglect.  Constant adherence to best practice will be addressed throughout the training.
