Whistle Blowing Training - 1 Day - T0295a

Abstract

The aims of the course is to give staff an overview of the concept of whistle blowing and what this means for practice.  Course participants will cover an array of issues in terms of how staff can deal with a whistle blowing incident within their own organisation.  The legal issues pertaining to this will be addressed to make sure people act fairly and with discretion to secure the proper position within the organisation.  Emphasis will be placed on best practice in how this concept is to be translated within addictions services practice.
