Understanding & Working With Child Sex Offenders Training - 1 Day - T0281a

Abstract

The aim of this one-day course is to familiarise police officers with the concept of child sexually offending behaviour and explore the dynamics of this phenomenon within the context of investigating criminal activity.  A range of areas will be explored in order to address this complex area.  Emphasis will be placed upon how to understand and work with child sex offenders from an investigative perspective.  Police officers will become familiar in working with sexually offending behaviour cycles and to work effectively in interviewing alleged offenders.  Constant adherence to good practice working will be maintained throughout the training day.
