Working with Challenging Behaviours in Dual Diagnosis - 2 Days - T0118l
Abstract
The aim of this course is to give a detailed analysis of the area of challenging behaviours within the field of dual diagnosis. Staff and carers will become familiar with areas specific to challenging behaviour when working with people with dual diagnosis who have forensic histories and how best to deal with behaviours that are presented. Course participants will learn to utilise a variety of techniques throughout the training that are purely non-aversive in nature. Emphasis will be placed upon applying the training principles learned directly into your own working practice.
