Abstract

To enable course participants to explore the issues relating to risk and the assessment of risk within the field of disabilities.  Thorough explanation will be given in all aspects of risk related to the individual and the management of risks related to the individual that will take into account all levels of disability.  The legal issues will be addressed throughout the course in order help participants understand legal mandate within the risk assessment process.  Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
