Developing The Managers Role Training - 3 Days - T0252

Abstract

The emphasis on this course will be directed at developing the manager’s skills in a variety of areas in relation to management practice.  Managers will review their own practice and look at how they manage others within their own services.  Emphasis will be placed upon developing leadership skills, dealing with staff conflict, the role of supervision and appraisal, creating a cohesive service that will be respected by others internal and external to the agency.  The legal underpinnings of the manager’s role will be addressed throughout the training and emphasis will be placed upon best practice methodology.
