Conducting Parenting Assessments: A Formula For Practice - 5 Days - T0267c

Abstract

The aim of this course is give an overview of how to undertake parenting assessments that fulfil the requirements of both children in need and child protection issues.  Practitioners will become familiar with an array of parenting assessments and how to translate these to direct practice.  This will be incorporated in how to assess contact issues within the remit of parenting assessments. Practitioners will be briefed on what is required to make sure that parenting is to a ‘good enough’ standard.  Best practice methodology will be adopted throughout the training.
