Understanding Child Development, Attachment and Resilience Training - 1 Day - T0240

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise workers with the concepts relating to child development, attachment and resilience.  A full analysis of each of these areas will be undertaken in terms of how this relates to direct practice in working with young children and adolescents.  Various theories will be addressed in terms of how this relates to effectively working with children and young people.  An analysis of behaviours will be undertaken in order that practitioners can work more effectively with young people and children who display problematic behaviours.  Best practice issues will be addressed throughout the training.
