Sexuality And Learning Disabilities: Delivering Sex Education Programmes - Three 3 Days - T0115p

Abstract

The aim of this course is to educators in the delivery of sexuality and sexual health education regarding people with learning disabilities.  Emphasis will be placed upon how to devise educational packages relating to this area and how to deliver good quality coherent information to selected learning disabled students.  Thorough guidance and exploration will be given in sexual health issues in how they affect people with learning disabilities.  The course will aim to address complex aspects of sexual health in reviewing how to communicate complex information in a simple coherent manner.  Course participants will familiarise themselves with best practice issues pertinent to this field.
