Working With Sexually Harmful Behaviours In Young People Training - 2 Days - T0238

Abstract

The aim of this course is give an overview of what is meant by sexually harming behaviours within young people.  Participants will familiarise themselves with models of good practice in conducting this work both from a risk assessment and therapeutic viewpoint.  Course participants will become familiar with a variety of therapeutic techniques that can be used across the age range of young people who sexually harm others.  The course will focus upon the needs of the young person who displays difficult complex sexualised behaviours.  Emphasis with be on the AIM model of Intervention.
