Understanding and Working with Multiple Personality Disorder and Tourette’s Syndrome - One Day - T0192f
Abstract
The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants with the phenomenon of multiple personality disorder (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and Tourette’s syndrome. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of these disorders. A range of aspects will be covered over the day to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with multiple personality disorder and Tourette’s syndrome and how to cope with a highly complex area of work. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with how to support young people appropriately. The course will adhere to best practice methodology.
