Working with Children and Young People who Display Sexually Harmful Behaviours: The Managers Perspective - One Day - T0271bQU
Abstract
The aim of this course is give an overview of what is meant by sexually harming behaviours within young people from a managers perspective. Participants will familiarise themselves with models of good practice in conducting this work from a risk assessment and therapeutic viewpoint. Course participants will become familiar with a model of assessment that can be used across the age range of young people who sexually harm others and consequently how to work therapeutically with these children and young people. The course will focus upon the needs of the young person who displays difficult complex sexualised behaviours. Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
