Safeguarding Adults: Basic Awareness Training Level One Course - Half Day - T0140n1

Abstract

The aim of the awareness raising session is to give a basic awareness to safeguarding adults work and what that means with reference to direct practice.  A range of aspects will be highlighted to give course participants a simplistic understanding of what safeguarding adults work means with reference to front line staff and how this evolved over time in reference to national guidance.  The course is aimed at informing best practice issues and will assist in informing direct working practice when supporting clients who have been victims of abuse.
