Working With Children and Young People: The Remit of Engagement Training - Two Days - T0275

Abstract

 The aim of this course is to analyse the process of engagement when working with children and young people whether conducting group or individual work.  The course will aim to address the issues inherent in practice for facilitators of work with children and young people and how to create more meaningful practice for all concerned.  A range of issues will be addressed on the training to incorporate engagement with children and young people who can be challenging to services and how best to overcome these challenges.  The course will embrace best practice methodology throughout in order for course participants to be able to translate this into their direct working practice.
