Risk Assessment and Therapeutic Work With Children and Young People Who Display Sexually Harmful Behaviours - Six Days (3 x 2) - T0271QU

Abstract

The aim of this course is give an overview of what is meant by sexually harming behaviours within young people.  Participants will familiarise themselves with models of good practice in conducting this work from a risk assessment and therapeutic viewpoint.  Course participants will become familiar a model of assessment that can be used across the age range of young people who sexually harm others and consequently how to work therapeutically with these children and young people.  The course will focus upon the needs of the young person who displays difficult complex sexualised behaviours.  Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
