Risk Assessment and Management In Working With Perpetrators In Family Homes Training - 2 Days - T0124kQU
Abstract
The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to components of risk and its assessment when working with people deemed to be perpetrators within families. Participants will learn what is understood by: risk, risk assessment and risk management when working with this client group. The difficulty of balancing the management of risks and the rights of the individual will be of paramount concern throughout the training. Elements of risk will be addressed at all levels: risk to staff, risk to users of services and risk to the self. The course has been devised to inform procedural practice. At the end of the training the course participants will undertake a knowledge based test pertaining to the content of the course delivered.
