Abstract

The aim of the course is to give course participants a level of skill base in the application of working with diversity issues in mental health/illness and disabilities and to act as trainers in this area in order to deliver appropriate training for police officers.  A variety of applications will be addressed on the course with the focus being toward people with mental health/illness and disabilities and how to facilitate training around this topic for police officers.
