Equality And Diversity Awareness Training - T0183eQU - Half Day

Abstract

The aim and focus of this half day event will be looking at managing and developing good practice in equality and diversity within local authorities. Emphasis will be placed upon developing self-awareness in the area of equality and diversity issues in order to be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people. A full analysis of the ‘isms’ will take place in order to fully understand both the very subtle and blatant usage of discrimination in practice. The session will aim to challenge individual pre-conceptions in a range of aspects in order to promote a true anti-discriminatory regime where people can work together more effectively. Course Participants will undertake a test at the end of the course
