Motivational Interviewing Refreshers Training - T0132g - One Day

Abstract

The aim of the this course is to enable participants to refresh their understanding in relation to the issues pertaining to motivational interviewing.  Participants will be given guidance in applying advanced motivational interviewing skills in the context of their own working practice.  Participants will also learn to recognise the difference between helping and therapeutic support, consequently to acknowledge when to refer to other agencies for help and assistance.
