PACE (Police And Criminal Evidence Act) Awareness Training - 3 Day - T0231a

Abstract

The aim of the course is familiarise course participants with the Police & Criminal Evidence Act and the implications that this has in terms of direct practice.  Course participants will examine the role required in order to fulfil the requirements of an appropriate adult in police investigations.  A range of aspects will be covered on the training in order to equip individuals with the necessary skill base to undertake this task in a very complex arena.  The course is designed to feed directly in to best practice issues within the context of the role required.  A full insight in to the legislation pertaining to this Act will be examined in order that workers will gain further confidence in the role.
