POVA List Awareness Training - Half Day - T0140tQU

Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants an overview of what is meant by the POVA List (Protection of Vulnerable Adults Scheme).  The course is aimed at familiarising the participants with the concept of this list and what it means to practice when working with people who are deemed vulnerable adults.  Adherence to best practice will be reinforced throughout the session.  This course is specifically pertinent to managers/supervisors of services. The course participants will undertake a brief test at the end of the session in order to test their knowledge.
