Relationships and Loss in Working with Individuals who have had a Stroke – Half Day – T0224a

Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to relationships and loss within the field of stroke.  Individuals will learn to understand the concepts of loss within relationships, and how to support and aid those individuals who endure bereavement and loss as a direct result of a Stroke.  Emphasis will be placed upon best practice and the issues inherent when working within this client group. Course participants will learn an awareness  of loss in relation to Stroke.
