Motivational Interviewing Techniques Training - One Day - T0132c

Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to the concepts of motivational interviewing.  Course participants will be given thorough grounding in utilising this methodological framework within the workplace setting.  The focus of the course will address issues pertinent to working with people disabilities who are difficult to motivate and engage.  Participants will be given guidance in applying counselling skills in the context of motivational interviewing terms.
