Early Intervention In Psychosis When Working With Parents Training (1 Day) - T0347b
Abstract
The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants to the concept of early interventions in working with psychosis within parenting of children. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of early interventions in psychosis and the onset of problems associated with this when working with parents. This course will combine a range of interventions in working directly with parents with mental health problems. A range of aspects will be covered over the session to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with psychosis and how to cope with this highly complex area of work from a parenting perspective. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with best practice issues.
