Working With Agoraphobia Training (1 Day) - T0382

Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants to the concept of working with individuals who suffer with agoraphobia. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of early interventions in agoraphobia and the onset of problems associated with this. This course will combine a range of interventions in working directly with people with obsessive and compulsive behaviours associated with agoraphobia. A range of aspects will be covered over the session to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with agoraphobia and how to cope with this highly complex area of work. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with best practice issues.
