Dual Diagnosis Awareness Training - One Day - T0145f

Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to issues pertaining to Mental Health & Learning Disabilities. The course will raise an individual’s awareness of people who have enduring mental health problems. There will be a thorough review of mental illnesses that people endure within both a hospital and community setting. Course participants will be given indication of the current legislation pertaining to this area of work and look at therapeutic ways of working with people with mental health problems and learning disabilities. The course will aim to inform current workplace practice.
