Sexuality and Learning Disabilities: Train The Trainers - Three Days - T0115d

Abstract

The aim of this course is to train trainers in the delivery of sexuality and sexual health training regarding people with learning disabilities. Emphasis will be placed upon how to devise training courses relating to this area and how to deliver good quality coherent information to selected target audiences. Thorough guidance and exploration will be given in sexual health issues in how they affect people with learning disabilities. The course will aim to address complex aspects of sexual health in reviewing how to communicate complex information in a simple coherent manner. Course participants will familiarise themselves with best practice issues pertinent to this field.
