Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of Life Story Work and Theraplay in assisting residential services to provide therapeutic support to children and young people with the aim of promoting their resilience and sense of identity. The focus of the course will review the use of Life Story Work and Theraplay and how this can be utilised in the promotion of this endeavour to support young children appropriately. The course is aimed at creating best practice within the service you are based within.
