Abstract

This course is designed to give participants an in depth understanding of the issues comprised within sexual abuse work when working with issues surrounding domestic abuse. The course is aimed at domestic abuse staff who have responsibility to undertake indirect and direct work with people they are working with in a manner conducive to their practice. The course will teach course participants how to undertake appropriate courses of action in all case work where sexual abuse is a feature. Emphasis will be placed upon good practice issues.
