T0195u - Investigation Skills In Safeguarding Training (2 Days)
Abstract
The aim of the course is to familiarise practitioners in the whole concept of investigation skills within safeguarding work. Practitioners will become skilled at the investigative interviewing of vulnerable persons/witnesses in the process of giving evidence in line with Achieving Best Evidence rhetoric. The many facets of Achieving Best Evidence protocols will be explored at length in order to skill practitioners in the investigation field. Practitioners will become familiar with the whole investigation process within Adult and Child Protection work from its inception to conclusion. Practice issues will be discussed in line with organisational policy and procedures.
