Assessing Mental Capacity & Best Interest Assessment Training - 2 Days - T0226i

Abstract

The aim of the training is to give course participants a working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) in relation to undertaking assessment of capacity issues and best interest assessments. Course participants will familiarise themselves with how to appropriately assess capacity and undertake best interest assessments. The course will inform current working practice and how this will affect current practice across service provision.
