Challenging Behaviour and Autism Training- T0118d

Abstract

The aim of this course is to give a detailed analysis of the area of challenging behaviours within the field of autism specific to young children and adolescents.  Staff and carers will become familiar with areas specific to challenging behaviour when working with young people and adolescents with autism and how best to deal with behaviours that are presented.  Course participants will learn to utilise a variety of techniques throughout the training that are purely non-aversive in nature.  Emphasis will be placed upon applying the training principles learned directly into the your own working practice.
