Abstract
The aim of the course is give course participants a range of cognitive and behavioural techniques that can be used directly in the workplace when working therapeutically with clients in the mental health field. The course will look at both cognitive and behavioural approaches in their own right in terms of the implementation in practice. In line with this there will be a thorough overview of the concepts relating to both personal construct and rationale emotive therapies on the course. A range of disorders will be addressed to analyse how cognitive and behavioural techniques can be utilised to obtain the best therapeutic results for clients. The course is aimed at informing best practice. The course is only for qualified staff.
