Implementing Therapuetic Parenting Training - 2 Days - T0357

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of therapeutic parenting in assisting residential services to provide therapeutic support to children and young people with the aim of promoting their resilience. The focus of the course will review the use of therapeutic parenting and how this can be utilised to assist children and young people with their own trauma. This will be combined with a range of psychosocial approaches in order to assist children and young people in receipt of residential support services. The course is aimed at creating best practice within the service you are based within.
