Abstract

The aim of this course is to assist educators in the delivery of sexuality and sexual health education regarding children who have been victims of sexual abuse. Emphasis will be placed upon how to devise educational packages relating to this area and how to deliver good quality coherent information to selected young people. Thorough guidance and exploration will be given in sexual health issues from an educational perspective. The course will aim to address complex aspects of sexual health in reviewing how to communicate complex information in a simple coherent manner to children and young people who have been sexually abused. Course participants will familiarise themselves with best practice issues pertinent to this field.
