Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in working with children and young people. Workers will become familiar with using a variety of approaches and how to analyse these approaches in supporting children and young people in a more effective manner. A range of issues will be addressed on the course with the aim of giving participants a robust understanding and confidence in how to translate this in direct working practice when providing support to children and young people. The course is aimed at creating best practice within the service you are based within.
