Understanding Transgender Issues In Young People & Adolescents Within A School Setting: Raising Awareness - Train The Trainers - 2 Days - T0344

Abstract

The aim of the course is to train course participants to provide basic awareness training within a school setting to provide appropriate support to young people and adolescents who present with gender identity issues specific to transgender and what that means with reference to young people and adolescents’ own gender identity. The course will cover a range of issues for those providing appropriate supports in order to manage presenting topics that are faced within a school environment from a training perspective. This will include both the legislative and practical application of adherence to appropriate support within a school setting that follows best practice methodology.
