Applications of Psychosocial Interventions in Working with Addictions - 1 Day - T0341

Abstract

The aim of the course is to give course participants an awareness of how to work effectively with a variety of addictive behaviours utilising a range of psychosocial interventions. The course will look at how psychosocial interventions can be used in working with addictive behaviours specific to gambling, sex and eating disorders. Each area will be reviewed in its own right with regard to how to apply psychosocial interventions to specific types of addictive behaviours. Best practice methodology will be adopted throughout the training.
