Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants a comprehensive working knowledge of the Safeguarding and Protection Procedures from the perspective of a substance misuse worker. Course participants will be given thorough guidance in the procedures that should be adopted within safeguarding work from a care perspective and familiarise themselves with aspects of practice that cuts across all service provision. The course is aimed at informing best practice.
