Mental Capacity Act (2005) Assessing Capacity Issues Training - 1 Day - T0226g
Abstract
The aim of the training is to give course participants a working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) in relation to undertaking assessment of capacity issues. Course participants will familiarise themselves with how to appropriately assess capacity. The course will inform current working practice and how this will affect current practice across service provision. Participants will become familiar with the legal aspects inherent with the Act and how these can be adapted into fieldwork practice. A range of dilemmas will be addressed in order that course participants can fully appreciate the contributionary factors pertaining to this Act.
