Motivational Enhancement Therapy & Motivational Interviewing Training - 2 Days - T0132p

Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to the concepts of motivational enhancement therapy and motivational interviewing. Course participants will be given thorough grounding in utilising this methodological framework within the workplace setting. The focus of the course will address issues pertinent to working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems, (specifically around Dual Diagnosis). Participants will learn how to use these approaches and structure sessions accordingly. The course is aimed at informing best practice.
