Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to the concepts of basic care planning when working with children and young people. Course participants will review current thinking on this area of work and learn how to deliver the most appropriate service to your client grouping. The course will cover a range of issues looking at assessment, planning care, interventions and the evaluation process that are all involved within the care planning process. The rudiments of care planning procedures will be broken down so that course participants will learn to appreciate this crucial fundamental piece of work that is paramount to the care process for children and young people.
