Achieving Best Evidence - T0195

Abstract

The aim of the course is familiarise experienced practitioners in the whole concept of Speaking up for Justice legislation:  Achieving Best Evidence and the implication this will have upon working practice in working within the criminal justice system.  Practitioners will become skilled at the investigative interviewing of vulnerable adults/witnesses in the process of giving evidence in line with Achieving Best Evidence rhetoric.  The many facets of Achieving Best Evidence protocols will be explored at length in order to skill practitioners into the investigation field.  Emphasis will be placed upon dual working with the police and social services maintaining best practice methodology.
