Abstract

The aim of this course is to raise an individual’s ability in the area of supervising staff in conjunction with their work in practice with reference to supporting children and young people. This course will highlight supervisory dilemmas concerning areas of practice and address issues comprised within policies and procedural guidance pertaining to the supervision role. There will be a focus upon how the supervisory role can be utilised to improve performance and direct practice when working with staff that you line manage. The course will emphasise best practice issues throughout the training.
