Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to promote effective support for course participants when working with people with personality disorder. Course participants will begin to appreciate the varied aspects of personality disorder and the onset of problems associated with personality disorder. A range of aspects will be covered on the training to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with personality disorder and how to sustain effective management of the individual when working within a highly complex area of work. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with best practice issues to upskill field work practitioners to provide more positive support.
