Understanding & Working With Secondary Trauma Issues Training - 2 Days - T0330

Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants with the phenomenon of secondary trauma issues within child and family work. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of secondary trauma and the onset of problems associated with it. This course will combine this area of practice with direct emphasis upon working with children, families and carers. A range of aspects will be covered to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with this trauma presentation and how to cope with this complex area of work. Best practice issues will be addressed throughout the training.
