Abstract

The course is aimed at enabling course participants to explore issues relating to the concept of gambling addiction. Individuals will learn how to respond to those people who engage in gambling behaviours. Ways of working with this client group will be explored at length in order to give workers more confidence in their work. The rationale surrounding gambling addiction will be explored throughout the training. Course participants will be given information in how to assess and treat issues specific to gambling addiction.
