Abstract

The aim of the course is to give course participants a level of skill base in the application of motivational interviewing and to act as trainers in this area in order to deliver a one day course.  A variety of applications will be addressed on the course with the focus being toward children and young people and how to facilitate training around this topic.  The course will also address the spectrum of issues in working with young people who are extremely difficult to engage in services.
