Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to issues pertaining to Learning Disabilities with some issues pertaining to Mental Ill Health.  The course will raise an individual’s awareness of people who have learning disabilities and what this means for practice.  There will be a range of issues addressed on the course with the aim of looking at therapeutic ways of working with people with learning disabilities.  The course will aim to inform current workplace practice.
