Specialist Investigative Interviewing For The Vulnerable Adult Witness Training - 5 Days - T0312

Abstract

The course is aimed at police officers whose role requires them to plan, conduct and evaluate interviews with vulnerable adult witnesses and victims where there are features that indicate the requirement for specialist knowledge or skills relating to interviewing vulnerable adults.  The course is aimed at candidates who must be competent level one investigators (Professionalising Investigations Programme – PIP) and competent to interview victims and witnesses for serious and complex investigations.  The course will maintain best practice protocols throughout and promote an enhanced level of investigative practice that fulfils the requirements for vulnerable adult witnesses.
